Job Description We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our public company and oversee our comprehensive financial operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will be instrumental in managing our accounting records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing and filing quarterly financial statements, and guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and present quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with SEC regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the accounting team.
• Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for federal and state funders, foundations, and HealthLynked’s board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting including tax planning and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a financial controller or in a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Strong experience with public company accounting, financial reporting, and transaction processing.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, technology, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to deliver accurate results under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
