We are currently searching for an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team! This position is located in our Covington office, and is a full time or part-time salaried position.

This position includes both clinical audiology and hearing aid dispensing; serving a diverse patient population. Responsibilities

Conduct patient diagnostics by administering hearing evaluations, gathering pertinent medical history, and performing a thorough examination.

Make recommendations to clients based on their needs, lifestyle, and budget.

  • Maintain and repair devices from a variety of manufacturers.
  • Establish rapport and create professional relationships with patients to create repeat and referral business.
  • Fit clients with devices that best suit their needs and verify the fit.
  • Track and enter sales
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Be committed to excellent follow-up care to patients and their devices.
  • Fit clients with devices that best suit their needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Excellent customer service and communication (spoken and written) skills
  • Ability to adapt, problem solve, and overcome objections
  • Commitment to continued education
  • Ability to drive the business to meet and exceed sales expectations
  • Understanding and commitment to providing outstanding patient care and superior customer service, as well as always maintaining integrity, honesty, and respect for both our patients and staff members
  • Must be comfortable with the sales process and being accountable for sales goals
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with diagnostic testing and dispensing required

Licensure

  • Must have Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology degree as required by the state of Louisiana
  • Valid Hearing Instrument Dispensing Licensure (in good standing) in the state of Louisiana is required
  • Valid Audiology Licensure (in good standing) in the state of Louisiana

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
