What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiology Office RN/LPN position at Heart and Vascular Associates, LLC?
RN/LPN Daily Responsibilities
· Responsible for triaging calls for providers as needed
· Responsible for returning calls for questions and test results as needed as directed by the providers
· Responsible for all Device Clinic Management, including remote checks, documentation, scheduling and coordination with Device company representatives
· Responsible for referral to other specialists facilitating appointments, procedures, follow up, and orders if needed.
· Facilitates the FMLA paperwork for the practice
· Responsible for the initiation of IV line when needed for diagnostic studies in the office.
· Responsible for quarterly maintenance of office crash cart
· Responsible for month maintenance and testing of office Defibrillator
· Responsible for scheduling diagnostic testing/procedures at hospital as ordered by entering orders into EPIC if needed or faxing orders to facilities as needed
· Maintain BLS Certification
· Other job responsibilities as assigned
- Must have a valid RN/LPN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
