IT Help Desk Technician

Heart City Health is seeking a full-time IT Helpdesk Technician. The ideal candidate is results driven who will assist employees with fixing IT issues and maintaining technical solutions. This position is responsible for the operational support related to the department.

You will be working directly with staff and management to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of information technology through establishing/maintaining working relationships between coworkers in all departments involved in projects. This position requires the ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision and with interruptions throughout the day.

Essential Functions:

• Proactively manage and correct any IT issues that need attention. These will be assigned by current IT staff and EMR Manager
• Manage the current IT ticketing system by resolving employee issues, both on and offsite, with hardware and software support including: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Athena (EMR Systems), Computer and Printer configurations
• Proactively monitor workstations for optimal performance, and employee needs
• Help with IT projects as needed
• Correct issues with Athena Interfaces
• Accepts other duties as assigned and collaborates on solutions with the IT Manager or designee

Education, Experience and Licensure:

• Associate degree in a computer related tract – or equivalent real-world experience
• Specialized training or experience in Information Technology fields preferred
• Prior experience in healthcare operations preferred
• Computer knowledge required; Windows, Microsoft Office applications and internet savvy
• Must always present oneself in a professional manner.
• Must have a driver's license and be willing to drive own car to perform duties related to the job.
