• Assist all members with repairs or modifications to plant equipment or facilities according to requirements prioritized by the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as but not limited to engines, motors, pneumatic devices, CNC equipment, laser cutting equipment, conveyors, air and water systems; using schematics, diagrams, sketches, manufacturer’s repair specifications and tools such as hand tools, power tools, hoists, and forklift trucks.
• Follows procedures for spare part inventory and check out.
• Responsible for completing preventative maintenance routines; taking corrective action as needed.
• Responsible for plant-wide maintenance requirements, report or recommend needed steps or, in the case of emergencies, take necessary action.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
