Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender at Hearth Market, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, and wines. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that our table service is executed well and guests enjoy food options along with our fantastic drinks. Additionally, you will be expected to provide friendly and attentive service to our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps them coming back to enjoy our wood fed fire.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and readily available.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and engaging in conversation to enhance their experience.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol and compliance with sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop and promote seasonal drink specials that complement our food menu.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary, minimizing waste and ensuring that we always have the ingredients needed to serve our guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktail mixing and proper pouring methods.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of our guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) is preferred but not required.
