What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Bookkeeper position at Hearthside Fireplace?
Hearthside Fireplace and Patio, New England's largest hearth and patio retailer is looking for someone to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to ensure customer satisfaction is met while assisting the accounting and operations team with a variety of administrative/bookkeeping tasks. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and customer service focused. This position will initially be part time with flexibility in schedule. There may be an opportunity to increase to full time in the future.
Saturdays will be a must from October through February.
Primary duties will include:
- Answering phones/directing calls/taking messages on a multi-line phone system
- Confirming & scheduling installation and service appointments
- Greeting customers
- Point of sale (POS) transactions
- Scanning, filing, and data entry
- Processing warranty claims
- Provide support as needed to sales, accounting, and operations
Requirements:
- Prior customer service and/or bookkeeping experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Time management in a fast-paced environment
- MS Office 365
- Windows PC navigation and use
- Internet Searching
Customer Service experience desirable. Retail and/or administrative experience a plus.
