Accounts Receivable Specialist-Provider Cleanup, Accounts ReceivableThe Accounts Receivable Specialist is the expert accounts receivable person for our Provider Cleanups.

This individual will be responsible for partnering closely with our field administrators and ensuring awareness of company policy.

Additionally, this person must have the ability to provide training and research to field administrators to ensure knowledge of AR systems and efficiencies.

With more than 1,400 dental offices supported across 38 states, over 10,000 team members and over 2,300 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success.

We’re looking for professional individuals who are open, positive and mentally flexible to join our network of support.This individual will work independently, but also as part of a dynamic team within the Accounts Receivable Department to meet company goals.

To give you an idea of team structure, this individual will report to the Accounts Receivable Technical Manager.

Compensation range : 35K-39KBelow is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role : Provide exceptional customer service to offices on all accounts receivable related topics.

Audit patient accounts to verify that all adjustments are made to the correct provider and correct any that are not.Assist the company with a wide variety of insurance and accounts receivable matters relating to training, day to day processes and holding accountability.

Promote AR trainings through eLearning, growing our teams’ knowledge, to assist them in delivering the highest quality customer care to their patients.

Analyze offices AR numbers and systems and communicate opportunities to the admin.Build and maintain strong relationships with the rest of the Accounts Receivable team, Field AR Reps, Payor Relations, and Dental Insurance Administration (DIA Fee Schedules and Credentialing) teams at the various Support Office, to ensure cohesive support all around and a consistent message.

Minimum Requirements : Must be able to go into the office at least one day a week.Practical knowledge of Dental or Medical Insurance and / or Accounts ReceivableStrong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Qualifications : Experience with insurance billing and / or collecting past due balances preferably in a healthcare settingPhysical RequirementsAbility to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
