Inside Sales Representative - Payments

Using a consultative approach, you'll identify, build relationships, and sign up new businesses. By understanding their unique needs, you'll develop a customized solution that helps their business thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a hit-list of potential clients and orchestrate the entire sales cycle, from the first phone call to close
  • Perform demos that are so compelling prospects will feel like they're on the red carpet at the Oscars.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure that sales promises become sales realities.
  • Wield Atlas, our sales tool, like a ninja master to manage all sales activities.
  • Understand the competition like the back of your hand and figure out how to make Heartland shine like a disco ball.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills that make everyone feel like they're talking to the most charismatic person in the room (and the ability to sell and negotiate at all levels of decision-making).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where every day feels like a rollercoaster ride (minus the nausea).
  • Self-starter with enough creativity and flexibility to pivot on a dime and perform like a rock star even when under pressure.
  • Experience in cold-calling and establishing new relationships (extra credit for a track record of success).
  • Sales experience preferred, especially if you're a master of the hunt.
  • This is an in office sales opportunity, so you'll need to live locally (no teleportation devices, please).
