What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit- Nappanee position at Heartland RV?
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Department is responsible for testing the completed product built by Cruiser RV.
Areas in PDI include: Inspection, appliance testing, systems testing, trimming, sealing, cleaning/puttying, repairing and communicating defective items back to production in a detailed manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Testing all systems and operations
- Seal touch up and cleaning the exterior of the unit
- Cleaning the interior of the unit
- Repairing defects in the product
- Repairing any problems that arise or communicating them to production
- Working with air/power and hand tools
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Quality focused and Quality Inspection
Requirements
- Previous RV experience preferred, but willing to train
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Ability to work with air/power and hand tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to document defective items and report those daily
- Basic computer skills to document and record daily reports: Email, Word, Excel, etc
- Daily communication with production, quality control, and service required
