Activity Assistant

```Job Summary:``` We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities and events. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our nursing home and assisted living community. ```Duties:``` - Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities and programs for residents, including games, crafts, outings, and entertainment. - Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). - Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages resident participation and engagement. - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for residents. - Assist with setting up and cleaning activity areas before and after each session. - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members. ```Qualifications:``` - Previous experience in dementia care or memory care is highly desirable. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and coordinate events. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - High school diploma or equivalent. Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
