Heaton Deliveries Inc with FedEx Ground is immediately hiring full time and part time delivery drivers in Fort Wayne, IN!

Home/Ground Delivery Drivers will be making deliveries in the Northeast area of Fort Wayne. Our drivers will be operating 12-18ft step vans/box trucks provided by the employer.

Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Schedule: We operate 7 days a week. Must have weekend availability

Paid by the hour: $16.50

Bulk Route Delivery Drivers will be making deliveries to the Glenbrook Mall area. This position includes a driver helper.

Work Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Paid by the hour: $21.00

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record

• For-Hire Endorsement preferred

• 1 Year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 10 years. MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA/FOOD DELIVERY, LANDSCAPING DRIVER IS ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE

• Must be willing to submit to a Background Check

• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)

• Physically able to handle packages up to 100 lbs

Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:

• Arrive at FedEx terminal in New Haven to pick up vehicle and packages

• Loading and Unloading packages from truck

• Delivering packages to destination using a GPS system

• Scanning and Logging Packages

Benefits:

• Paid Training $12/hour (1-2 weeks)
