Senior Brand Analyst

This role is office hybrid and based out of our Louisville, KY office.

What the Role Is

The Sr Brand Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Commercial Analytics while supporting Brand Team(s) and other FP&A Team Members, will be integral in performing business analysis of our brands. This individual will be responsible for providing financial analysis and commercial & consumer insights; coordinating with operations, production, and capacity planning; and leading other analysis projects bringing together multiple SME’s from different teams & departments.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Support the assigned brand(s) in budgeting, forecasting, commercial & customer insights, business analysis & coordination of large scale projects
• Co-Management of brand P&Ls with the brand teams
• Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned brands
• Financial thought-partner for brand teams
• Assist/lead commercial analytics for brands
• Assist or lead in brand lead consumer insights work
• Help coordinate large scale projects in tandem with appropriate brand partner(s)
• Evaluation of brand investment effectiveness (ROI)
• Preparation of business cases to support brand-related commercial decisions
• Preparation of commercial and strategic reviews relating to the brand as well as other ad hoc senior management/stakeholder presentations
• Tracking and management of brand Advertising & Promotion (A&P) and SAB budgets, in conjunction with brand marketing team
• Plans, directs, and conducts analyses and provides business-oriented performance insights
• Effectively communicate results to clients (both written & verbal) across the organization to facilitate decision making process
• Develop and maintain long-term forecasts for supported brands including inventory analysis

Who You Are…

• Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field (accounting, marketing, finance, economics, business administration, etc.)
• Minimum three years’ work-related experience in the CPG industry
• CPG related Business Analysis – both Commercial/Consumer & Financial
• Strong business financial acumen
• Working in matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
• Understanding and ability to link multiple data-sets
• Understanding of financial business concepts.
• Ability to coordinate resources together even when not the SME of a particular area.

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

• Brand P&L Ownership
• Nielsen/IRI Work
• Direct experience building reports in Power BI
