The Equipment Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for performing the purchasing function for new and used equipment for select product lines. This role serves as the point of contact with equipment purchase from order to delivery of equipment at the branch location. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior purchasing experience is required. Strong organizational, communicative skills is required. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office is required. Previous experience with construction equipment is preferred. SAP and Coupa knowledge a plus. Job Duties: Using knowledge of product lines and specifications for various manufacturers, reviews and places orders for new and used equipment and equipment attachments. Reviews all necessary purchasing paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies for documentation and approval of purchases. Documents and enters all pertinent data and information regarding equipment ordered. Organizes and facilitates hauling and delivery of ordered equipment to appropriate branch locations within the company. Maintains communication with branch locations the status of equipment orders. Prepares timely reports related to status of equipment purchase orders. Contacts manufacturer and branch locations for any delayed or late deliveries of equipment in a timely manner. Serves as main point of contact with branch locations for any questions or concerns with ordering or delivery of purchased equipment. Provides timely assistance to branch locations with any inquiries on equipment. Assists with equipment disposals by approving advertising photos and purchasing extended warranties. Enters and codes equipment invoices into proper ledger accounts for accurate accounting records. Collaborates with Accounting for any questions/concerns of invoices and ledger accounts.
