As a Recovery Support Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining, processing, and documenting agency and legal placed accounts as well as communicating with Branches regarding accounts placed with the internal collection teams and 3rd party collection companies.
- Receive and process accounts from the branches for placement with internal collection teams and 3rd party collection companies
- Document accounts quickly and properly in the Company’s loan management systems
- Prepare placement files and include appropriate data and documentation as needed from the internal team as well as 3rd party collection companies
- Organize placement files for review and placement with the appropriate collection groups
- Communicate with Branches regarding placed accounts and legal accounts
- Scan and index media to the proper account
- Research, locate and send media request to 3rd party collection companies as needed
- Process 3rd party payments
- Process recalled accounts and put back requests from each collection team
- Manage daily metric report
- High School Diploma with minimum two years’ experience in a data entry or clerical position
- Prefer financial processing experience with a financial institution or consumer finance company
- Associate Degree in Business preferred
- High understanding of Excel required
- Some understanding of SQL Tables is preferred
- Strong ability to process high volume of activity
- Computer proficiency: Experience with Excel required, and SQL experience preferred
- Strong accurate data entry skill
- Strong detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer relations/interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, effectively establish priorities and manage time to meet daily, monthly and yearly deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with all-level employees, and specifically, Branch personnel
