Apartment Manager

The ideal Apartment Manager provides on-site site property management for tenants to protect the legal rights and liabilities of the Helen Ross McNabb Center.

  • Must be willing to provide oversite of the day to day operations of the recovery residence.
  • Must transport residents to work, treatment, or other appointments as needed.
  • Must work with Recovery Home Case Manager to insure residents are completing requirements of probation, treatment and the court system.

COMPENSATION: Effective 8/1/22 Starting salary for this position is approximately $17.53 / hr based on relevant experience and education.

Scheduling: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (flexibility required to meet the needs of the clients).

Travel: F endorsement is required to transport clients as necessary. Some travel may be required for off site meetings / trainings.

Equipment/Technology: Basic computer skills are required for scheduling, time keeping, email, data entry (Word, Excel), and documentation in the electronic medical record.

QUALIFICATIONS - Apartment Manager

Education:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Previous experience with managing properties / apartments preferred.

Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors.
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones.
  • Close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity.
  • Effective communication skills, strong time management, and organizational skills are necessary to manage day to day job responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation.
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
