Immediate opening for a full-time School Aged Child Care (SACC) Site Manager
At Helena Public schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a full-time (8 hours per day) 12-month per year SACC Site Manager you contribute to this mission by providing supervision and assistance to students K-5.
You will work as part of a team of 45 staf members serving 125 students at 10 Elementary School programs across Helena. Specifc elementary school is to be determined.
Some of what you will do :
- Responsible for the management and supervision of an after school child care facility and the day-to-day planning of the facility activities,
- Supervises students after school and during outside play,
- Plan and supervise day to day progam activities according to program model and in conjuction with instructors at the site,
- Interact with parents to keep them informed, answer questions and concerns,
- Maintain a safe and orderly enviornment,
- Assist in maintaining appropriate program documentation,
- Work period is normally Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm.
To become part of this dedicated team, you need :
- Associates degree or equivalent;
- Two years experience as a licensed and / or registered group or family day care provider or day care center staff person;
- One to two years related experience and / or training;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the District.
