R. Helfrich and Son Bus Company has been a family owned and operated business since it was first established in 1931. Providing school buses, charter buses and limousine service for decades to our community and beyond.
We seek out the most qualified and family friendly drivers because we aim to not just be the best school bus company around, but to also have good relationships with the families and townships we work with. That’s how we have made it this far, and we want to continue down this road for many years to come.
We have maintained a fleet of high quality CDL drivers for a long time now and we are seeking new employment that is highly motivated and willing to put in the time. I can assure you that we offer top dollar to our employees, at least 30 hours of work during the week and plenty of school trips throughout the week and weekends.
*We are accepting applications for employment, both full and part time.
*We offer free CDL training on site, with the condition that your maintain employment with us for a minimum of 1 year.
*Lastly, if you already have your commercial driver license, and driver endorsements (S and P endorsement), you automatically start out at a higher rate of pay.
At this time we are searching for people to drive school buses. We have routes in Hazlet, Holmdel, Middletown, Old Bridge and Rumson. All of our routes are three tier (High School, Middle School, Elementary School.)
