Our facility is looking for a caring and compassionate Activities person that enjoys coming to work and is inspired to treat our residents like family. Our skilled nursing facilities are more than a nursing home, we are HOME! We like to have fun and create a rewarding atmosphere, filled with energetic and positive staff. We will make you feel appreciated and enjoy watching you pass that appreciation on to our residents.
The overall purpose of the Activities position is to provide group and individual activities for the residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily resident and guest activities program, including oversight of other activities staff and volunteers.
- Creates highest standard of resident experience, with dedication to resident choice and overall "can-do" approach to resident satisfaction.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year job experience in long-term care or similar environment.
