**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Lead with expertise in Kafka to join our team. As a Java Developer/Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Java developers in the design, development, and implementation of scalable and high-performance applications utilizing Kafka for data streaming and processing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead a team of Java developers in the design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
- Architect and implement Kafka-based solutions for data streaming and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and development.
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and best practices are maintained.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Kafka implementations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kafka and related technologies.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- [X] years of experience in Java development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
- [X] years of hands-on experience with Kafka, including design, implementation, and administration.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data streaming, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Kafka ecosystem components such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
- Proficiency in using Kafka for real-time data processing, event sourcing, and message queuing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Certification in Kafka or related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with other stream processing frameworks like Apache Flink or Apache Spark Streaming.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
