What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Sales position at Helix Hotels?
Overview:
We currently have an opening for a Multi-Property Director of Sales. This position would be based out of the Hampton Inn - Milwaukee Airport but would have remote sales responsibility for another property as well.
Key attributes and responsibilities of the position include:
- Follow up leads by visiting prospective clients regularly
- Submit timely and accurate sales reports to the company
- Actively participate in all scheduled revenue calls held by the brand and the company
- To constantly monitor and be aware of competitor activity in the assigned market
- To constantly and consistently be aware of new business opportunities and proactively react to those opportunities for the benefit of the property
- Respond to all sales leads coming directly to the property
- Actively engage all online platforms and booking engines
- Maintain regular contact with LNR/CNR accounts and continue to build a larger base
Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to conduct and manage meetings
- Prior hospitality sales experience a plus!
- Prior management or supervisory position with transferable skills
- Proven ability to sell
