YOUR TASKS

FORVIA - HELLA Electronics Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Systems Engineer – Body Controls. The focus of this role will be to lead product and requirements analysis for our rapidly growing body controls team.

Daily Responsibilities

• The Lead System Engineer acts as the overall technical contact person to spearhead a validated solution for assigned programs.
• Create and own all assigned programs including documentation, strategy, and overall standards
• Organizing and chairing System Change Control Boards (CCB).
• Ownership of overall system architecture for assigned products.
• Manage final Design verification (DV) plan, final Master test plan, and recovery plans
• Assist with the development and mentorship of junior employees

Qualifications

•  7 years experience managing requirements flow including direct experience in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science engineering is preferred.
• Experience in the evaluation of functional, technical architectures at the system and component level.
• Ability to help lead and mentor in a cross functional global team.
• Proficient with MS Office applications, MKS/PTC, DOORs.
