Help at Home is hiring a Recruiting Specialist! Pay starts at $19 per hour. This is an onsite/in-office role with occasional travel.

The Recruiting Specialist will develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers, source, interview, recap and communicate hiring decisions with hiring team etc. In addition will assist hiring, on-boarding, etc. of all Branch Operations staff positions across area and communicate timely updates to Recruiting Manager and other Hiring Managers accordingly.

Responsibilities
- Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks
- Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goal

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Professional communication and organization skills
- Valid driver's license
- Access to insured and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred, but not required
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Travel – Regular travel will be required for this role.
