Based in Jamestown Residential Care Home, as our invaluable Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the provision of the lifestyle program to Helping Hand residents working through the Lifestyle Assistants, Volunteers and the Lifestyle Care Attendant staff.
This role involves recruitment, selection, implementation, monitoring, support, and development of the Lifestyle Assistants and site Volunteer Services.
The role requires a commitment of 22.5 hours per week, distributed over 3 days.
You’ll also make an impact by :
- Coordinating the duties of the lifestyle assistants and volunteers to ensure the program is able to meet the needs of individual residents and the requirements of the site.
- Ensuring that residents at risk of are identified and that working collaboratively with the Management team to reduce social isolation of high risk residents.
- Developing and maintaining duty statements and shift guidelines for staff and volunteers to ensure sound understanding of roles.
