JOB ID 16233 - A lovely family in Van Nuys is seeking a long-term part time nanny for their happy soon to be 8 month old to start Monday January 8th, 2024. Care is needed Mondays-Thursdays 8am-2:30pm and Fridays 8am-12pm. The child enjoys playing independently, sleeping, and watching other children play. Mom works from home and dad has a hybrid schedule and they’re looking for a candidate who can help keep the child engaged while in meetings. The family is looking for a provider who is available for date nights once per month on Fridays or Saturdays from 7pm-11pm (timing is flexible), however, this is not a requirement. A great candidate will be active, energetic, have a positive attitude, and be punctual.
- Start date: Monday January 8, 2024
- Length of Position: Long term, minimum 1-2 years
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8am-2:30pm Friday, 8am-12pm
- Compensation: $25 per hour gas reimbursement when driving the child
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bottle solid feeding
- Diaper changing
- Driving child on occasion to activities, appointments, and interactive outings (furthest distance ~20 minutes)
- Engaging with the child in developmental activities milestones and limiting screen time
- Laundry for child
- Light housekeeping related to the child; bottle cleaning, washing child’s dishes, etc.
- Preparing solids for child; pureeing fruits vegetables
- Stroller walks around neighborhood to nearby park
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience as a nanny or in a daycare setting
- Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Must have a valid driver’s license clean driving record
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport child
- ECE credits are a plus
