What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Clerk position at Helvey & Associates?
Provides clerical support functions to call center agents. General clerical duties including data entry, mail returns, filing, computer-generated reports as well as backup for other team members. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reviews, documents, and initiate next action step for consumer correspondence.
- Scans correspondence and other documents.
- Prints itemized statements.
- Performs data entry for new business of collection accounts.
- Views and processes bankruptcy information or notifications on account files.
- Handles all communication to and from credit bureaus concerning accounts placed on consumers’ credit reports.
- Verifies accuracy of automated new business loaded by Tech Services by printing & reviewing acknowledgements.
WHAT ARE THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS?
Call Center Clerical Support staff must have at least a high school diploma. Courses in accounting, finance or similar might be helpful.
