What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Center Manager position at Hemarus LLC?
Full Job Description
Works under direction of Center Manager, in compliance with the Hemarus Quality Manual ensure center compliance to the Hemarus Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), current state and federal regulations.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Observe and assist all the employees for smooth operation and good performance.
2. Coordinate external audits performed by FDA, other regulatory bodies and customers.
4. Maintain smooth facility operations by coordinating with the employees and the corporate management.
5. Co ordinate with QA Supervisor in performing QA activities like monitoring deviations by tracking and trending errors and in conjunction with QA team address areas of non-compliance by creating correct action plan.
6. Proper maintenance of checks and cash for the donor payments and facility maintenance.
7. Maintain inventory and place orders for the supplies when ever required.
8. Maintain certification and annual re-certification requirements of the Hemarus facility.
9. Send weekly work reports, inventory reports and updates on the status of checks to Corporate Management.
10. Send monthly reports to Haemonetics.
11. Print test results from Qualtex mails for Physician Substitute and QA review. For any positive results need to initiate and complete the further actions with in time like look back, URFL completion and donor, Health department notifications.
12. Review and assist in equipment maintenance, calibrations and validations for accuracy and completeness.
13. Attend in all external inspections. Write and submit responses to observations and CAP with assistance from Corporate and QA Supervisor.
14. Ensure facility cleanliness and co ordinate with all service providers.
15. Attend in all facility related and donor related emergencies when ever required.
16. Review records daily, weekly, monthly and submit timely reports as required by the corporate management.
17. Ensure most current SOP’s, QM, OSHA, CLIA etc manuals and forms are in the center and consistently followed.
18. Ensure concurrent, legible and accurate documentation.
19. Assists with new hire orientation and training of new hires.
20. Ensure training protocols are continuously followed.
21. Monitor recertification dates for each employee.
22. Assist in creation of training plans and continuous improvement of training procedures.
Educational Requirements:
1. College education or equivalent preferred.
2. Able to speak read and legibly write English.
3. Able to use computer.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
