Description

Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY (HOACNY), voted one of Central New York's Best Places to Work, is looking for a full time Billing Specialist to join our professional team.

HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Syracuse and Auburn.

A medical billing specialist (Medical Biller) is required to have knowledge and experience with Medicare and commercial insurances including third party administrators regarding all aspects of claims including payments, appeals, and working denials, and understanding the insurance industry benefits and familiarity with their websites.

Excellent organizational skills for effective patient account follow up. Handles all billing and patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

High School Diploma

1 -2 years medical billing and Accounts Receivable, preferred.
