OVERVIEW
Hendall Inc. is seeking an Application Development Manager to join our team. This position will support Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) which serves the public as a trusted partner and steward, dedicated to advancing health equity, expanding coverage, and improving health outcomes.
DUTIES
- Overseeing the development and implementation of software applications
- Identifying areas for improvement in the application development process
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the software applications
- Monitoring trends in application development and keeping abreast of new technologies
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate application development tools and platforms
- Generating reports on the performance of software applications
- Providing training and support to users of the applications
- Provide applications support on as needed basis
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to remediate findings
- Help maintain code quality and organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Applications development skills: Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall, Project Management, Software Development, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis, NET web developer in C#, Java, Python, Cloud
- Knowledge of SQL Server
- Knowledge of Relational Database
- Knowledge of Windows Administration
- A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Able to work in a team environment and collaborate well with others
- A self-starter with strong self-management skills
