Operating Room Registered Nurse

If you have a passion for surgical nursing and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. ### Duties: - Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available - Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies - Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia administration during surgery - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes - Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery and administering medications as needed - Document patient information, including surgical procedures, medications administered, and vital signs - Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions ### Requirements: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license - Previous experience in an operating room setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions - Effective communication skills to collaborate with the surgical team and educate patients - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems ### Skills (Preferred): - Assisted living experience - Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system - Experience with medical imaging technology - Proficiency in Epic EMR software - Health coaching certification or experience - Experience in infant care or neonatal nursing - Case management skills - Experience administering injections - Knowledge of behavioral health practices - Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine If you are a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for surgical nursing, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position. Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,791.00 per week
