YOUR ROLE
- Be leader of the shift in the absence of the supervisor
- Be liaison between the Warehouse Crew and Materials Manager for instructions to the crew in the absence of the supervisor
- Reviews upcoming production schedule and orders raw materials by creating shuttles form the third-party warehouse.
- Ensures all inbound receipts for production raw materials are entered by crew.
- Works with other departments to ensure the proper amount of materials are in the RM warehouse and potential expedites due to production schedule change.
- Administer cycle count program by ensuring all raw materials, packaging and other products are counted.
- Investigates and reports reasons for inventory discrepancies.
- Participate and help in near-miss, first aid, or accident investigations.
- Review and update SOPs with Warehouse Supervisor providing guidance.
- Perform material management SAP transactions.
- Provide direction to crew concerning work to be performed and production priorities
- Verify the completion of Process Order Confirmations and production goods receipts
- Administer shuttle error log from Benore; coordinates with pack-out personnel any necessary changes to their scanning method.
- Alternate Materials Coordinator ensuring confirmations are complete with correct inventory consumption
YOUR SKILLS
- Strong SAP experience along with Microsoft Office
- Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse experience a plus.
- Commitment to excellence in safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Initiative to develop and initiate changes for improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
