Due to high patient demand, Henry Ford Health has a focused strategic effort in Functional Neurosurgery. To build and strengthen an already busy neurosurgery practice, Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a board eligible/certified Neurosurgeon who is interested in helping to collaborate and expand our robust Functional Neurosurgery program.
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated Neurosurgeon with a focus on the surgical treatment of Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, and Pain. In addition to clinical care, this role includes resident education and opportunity for research. The Henry Ford Department of Neurosurgery offers a broad spectrum of neurosurgical services, each backed by strong teaching and research programs, providing patients the most recent advances in diagnosis and treatment technologies. Our nationally recognized clinicians provide expert, coordinated care in a variety of specialties.
The practice is based at Henry Ford's West Bloomfield, with additional surgical opportunities at our downtown Detroit location. Our services to support Neurosurgery include Neurology subspecialists, Pain Management, Nurse Navigator, Clinical Research Infrastructure, and access to state-of-the-art surgical and diagnostic imaging equipment.
Position Highlights
· Collaborating Neurology subspecialists in Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, and Headache
· Robust Pain management program
· Several Stereotactic platforms (including robotic and iMRI)
· Laser ablation platforms
- Must have valid medical degree
- Must be American Board of Neurological Surgery eligible/certified
- Focused subspecialty training in functional neurosurgery
