JOB OVERVIEW: The Sales & Operations Associate will be responsible for project management/coordination and execution of many of the activities that fall within the scope of HSPS sales operations and broader business improvement initiatives. The Associate will report to the Sales Operations Manager and support the HSPS software business. Primary responsibilities will include sales pipeline data analysis and reporting, managing sales improvement projects and liaising with key business and functional members across the HSPS organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze and report on sales and pipeline data monthly and as needed Prepare month-end and mid-month summary of sales and pipeline results with recommendations for action for HSPS Leadership Team Perform sales effectiveness analysis (e.g. win/lose rates, length of sales cycle, health of pipeline, productivity, trends, etc.) and share with HSPS leadership toward addressing and improving sales results. Escalate, track and follow-up on HSPS-specific sales report issues or requests to HSPS sales operations team, Finance or HSPS Leadership team Help drive strategic initiatives for the HSPS business Create and analyze key metrics to identify issues and offer recommendations to the HSPS leadership to improve performance Develop, manage and execute on special projects including performance improvement plans and restructuring efforts Support the existing business practice areas Support activities related to annual sales target setting (business and individual), liaising with HSPS leadership, Finance and HSPS sales operations team Contribute to HSD sales management or operations initiatives from a HSPS business perspective Project manage sales effectiveness initiatives and related communications to the HSPS Sales and Marketing Leadership Teams. Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Four-year university degree 2-5 years in business-related field Ability to work with large and complex data sets Detail oriented Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication ability with experience creating executive level presentations Strong interpersonal and team skills, including ability to leverage resources as necessary Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines Commitment to follow-through and persistence Familiarity with pipeline and general sales management concepts Self-starter, quick study Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel CRM familiarity and usage Familiarity with analytics and BI software such as Domo and Salesforce Analytics GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Good understanding of industry practices Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task Good verbal and written communication skills Good presentation and public speaking skills Good interpersonal skills Basic conflict resolution skills Developing professional credibility WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
