Business Analyst Principal (Remote)

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst Principal to evaluate engineering insight needs as they relate to decision-making and efficiencies across engineering and other functions. The ideal candidate will help translate business needs into measurable metrics and interpret business performance, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of the business.

• Reviewing and monitoring developed metrics against business needs to ensure accountability.
• Driving the definition of insights based on business requirements, synthesizing data to understand not just what is happening, but why.
• Communicating findings, risks, and opportunities effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, primarily in engineering, to document and validate current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Defining short-term and long-term objectives with management, establishing key performance measurements and potential gains.
• Analyzing current process metrics to identify areas for enhancement and optimizing performance.
• Developing data models and process flows, while continuously working to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Recommending changes to processes and systems based on data analysis of trends and operational performance.
• Establishing metrics to evaluate the achievement of intended outcomes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce process variation.
• Preparing project presentations for management and assisting in the implementation of process improvements to meet business goals.
• Promoting a culture of collaboration, predictability, and innovation through effective communication and teamwork.
  
  

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Physical/Applied Sciences, or a related management discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Information Technology).
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous engineering experience in complex systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking, and team-building skills.
• Understanding of the value of metrics and iterative delivery.
• Experience in developing requirements for data collection and its subsequent use.
• Knowledge of technical concepts, methodologies, and standards.
• Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $53.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
