We're growing! Hepworth Legal is looking for a personal injury attorney to join our team and to help us handle our explosive growth throughout Utah. We're looking for an individual with at least 1 year of experience.

The salary listed is the base pay. Additionally, there is an aggressive commission structure in place allowing the attorney to make significantly higher annual income.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will engage with potential clients, assessing the viability of their claims and offering expert initial legal advice. Your role involves a thorough evaluation of case facts, evidence, and relevant legal precedents to determine the potential for success and compensation. This includes conducting comprehensive legal research and staying updated on pertinent laws and regulations. The attorney will be responsible for preparing and filing all essential legal documents, such as complaints and motions, while also engaging in negotiations with opposing parties, insurance firms, and other key stakeholders to secure favorable settlements. If cases progress to litigation, you will represent our clients in court, presenting evidence, examining witnesses, and championing their rights. Maintaining open communication with clients throughout the legal process is paramount, ensuring they are consistently informed about case progress and potential outcomes. Our attorneys are also expected to continuously enhance their legal knowledge, attending relevant seminars and workshops. Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the state bar association is a must. Collaboration skills are essential, as you'll work closely with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure comprehensive case management.

Required Experience

  • Attorney: licensed member of the Utah Bar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
