Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks and adhere to strict sanitation protocols.

  • Clean and sanitize processing equipment, machinery, and workspaces according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning and sanitation, following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and use cleaning solutions, detergents, and sanitizers in accordance with recommended concentrations and application methods.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address sanitation issues, such as mold, mildew, pests, or other contaminants, and report any findings to the supervisor.
  • Dispose of waste and debris in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations, ensuring proper segregation and disposal methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including cleaning logs, sanitation checklists, and inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure minimal disruption to production operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay informed about best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to sanitation and hygiene.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of sanitation principles, practices, and regulations, especially in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address sanitation issues proactively.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
