Seeking an Experienced Controller for a Manufacturing Company
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our Finance team at a local Berks County manufacturing company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing functional accounting operations, payroll, monthly GL accountability, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage functional accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions
- Manage fixed assets, leases, insurance, and healthcare
- Ensure inventory integrity and ERP accountability
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize goods, labor, and pricing
Requirements:
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing operation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
