Job Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates the production of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality processes.
Generates innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
Meets with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Analyzes information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
Reviews and/or edits content developed by other members of the team.
Develops and implements the use of quality checklists.
Creates product specifications, SOPs, and QC Laboratory conventions in accordance with compendial requirements and good laboratory practices.
Accurately maintains all filing systems (electronic and manual) for the management of analytical support documentation, “History of Change”, and status / disposition ensuring all data integrity requirements.
Corresponds with various departments within Herbs, Etc. in order to obtain all the necessary information required for each document change.
Assists with in-process inspection of production activities including Batch Production Records (BPR) reviews, review of personnel following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and review of cleaning and sanitizing activities.
Performs basic chemistry analysis and sample preps and performs UV-VIS analysis of raw material and finished products.
Monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials.
Conducts tests and analyses measurements.
Ensures that manufactured products meet predetermined quality standards.
Determines compliance with quality standards and identifies raw material condition.
Reviews and determines the disposition of finished products.
Skills and Abilities
BA / BS degree or acceptable combination of education and practical experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience as technical writer developing procedural documentation and SOPs, interfacing with stakeholders to align different and potentially conflicting needs.
Attention to detail.
Experience working with teams in developing quality processes.
