We are currently looking for Machine Operators to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll be the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. We have a structured training program where operators can grow into higher machine roles and have some control over their advancement and salary! Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that manufacturing production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits, and provide continual growth to our associates.

Machine Operator Hours:

• 2024 (January-April) - 2nd Shift is M-Th / 10-hour shifts / 3pm-1am
• Expected 2024 Schedule Change (May) - 2nd Shift will be M-F / 8-hour shifts / 1pm-9pm
• 2024 (January-April) - 3rd Shift is M-Th / 12-hour shifts / 5pm-5am
• Expected 2024 Schedule Change (May) - 3rd Shift will be M-F / 8-hour shifts / 9pm-5am

Machine Operator Job Description:

• Participate in safety initiatives, committees, and projects
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Provide quality team with samples for testing during each run
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience including setting up and operating machinery preferred
• Steady work history with excellent attendance
• Understanding of production procedures
• Safety minded and adherence to health and safety regulations (PPE)
• Previous forklift operation is a plus
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength (heavy lifting)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Machine Operator: 1 year (Required)
