Your Opportunity:
The Herff Jones Marketing team is looking for a Customer Insights Analyst to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
This is a regular, exempt full-time position with benefit eligibility including, medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, and additional voluntary benefits.

The Customer Insights Analyst is responsible for is responsible for gathering & sharing insights that can be used to inform and support decision making. This role is also important to the wider business as reliable consumer and market insights are a critical enabler for the growth of the product/service.
What You’ll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:
- Devising actionable strategies from customer insights.
- Assisting in bringing the consumer perspective to marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations.
- Identifying ideal methodology and providing oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs.
- Assisting in leveraging research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities.
- Conveying analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports.
- Managing the internal innovation portal
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have prior experience within a similar role.
- Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization.
- You are experienced in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research.
- Significant experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually.
- You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
- Outstanding decision-making skills and ability to work well with numbers.
- You are familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story.
- You have strong knowledge of the Qualtrics survey platform.
- You are a strategic thinker with good communication and presentation skills.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
Physical Requirements:Daily activity includes but is not limited to:
- Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Reading, communication, intermediate to advance math.
- Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above.
