Job Overview:
The Extended Care Coordinator is responsible for providing safe and nurturing care for children during nights after 6 pm-6am and weekends. They ensure the well-being, comfort, and security of children while adhering to established regulations and guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:

(Kindness, Creative, Caring, Clean) to maintain positive relationships with children, parents, team members, and Administration. *Must be willing to supervise and work 6p-6a Monday-Friday, Supervise a team of Designees for 24 hour Weekend Care Saturday/Sunday.

Essentials Duties and Functions:
The Extended Care Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of Heritage Early Learning Center during extended hours. This position requires a highly organized and dedicated individual who can manage multiple responsibilities to support the well-being and development of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
*Facility Management: *Ensure the facility is clean and well-organized, including sanitation of play areas, washing dishes, and preparing meal areas. *Conduct routine checks and maintenance to guarantee a safe environment. *Manage staff scheduling and create badges, ensuring all team members are properly identified. *Meal Preparation: *Serve dinner and prepare breakfast following nutritional guidelines and specific dietary needs. *Administrative Duties: *Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and maintain clear and effective communication with parents and staff. *Perform various administrative tasks crucial for the operational success of the center. *Maintain scheduling for Extended Care Staff *Be a part of hiring/training Evening/Weekend staff *Supervision and Care: *Remain vigilant and attentive at all times to ensure the safety and security of children in care. *Supervise and monitor sleeping children, adhering to established safety standards and regulations. *Provide individualized care and attention, and collaborate with parents to implement appropriate bedtime routines. *Safety and Security: *Maintain adequate indoor and outdoor lighting and control access to the premises to allow only authorized individuals. *Execute and uphold a security plan to limit access during non-operational hours. *Hygiene and Sanitation: *Assist children with hygiene needs, such as washing and changing clothes. *Ensure all children have access to personal hygiene supplies and maintain sanitation standards in all facilities, including bathrooms. *Communication and Collaboration: *Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians regarding their children’s routines, activities, and developmental progress. *Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure a consistent and nurturing environment. *Promptly report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate supervisors.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.50 - $14.50/hour.

We are a Step Up to Quality star-rated Christian Childcare Center Program that focuses on the educational development of kids ages Infant-12 years old.
