Job Requirements
- A passion for helping seniors
- A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
- Ability to work every other weekend
Job Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for utilizing appropriate cleaning solution to thoroughly launder all linens and residents personal clothing
- Delivering and putting away residents personal clothing in their room.
- Clean lint traps as required by equipment manufacturer.
- Keep laundry room clean and free of clutter
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to handle frequent lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and stretching.
- Ability to identify safety hazards is required
- No prior laundry experience necessary
