POSITION SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for supporting the sustainability analyst. Your responsibilities include overseeing asset tagging, ensuring compliance with refrigeration regulations (such as CARB), and maintaining accurate records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Tag refrigeration units, including freezers, coolers, and HVAC systems.
- Record relevant details (such as make, model, location, and maintenance history) associated with each tagged unit.
- Input asset information and upload pictures into the Corrigo system
- Stay informed about new refrigeration regulations and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively to ensure accurate data entry and timely updates.
- Be prepared for extended travel periods (air travel is required).
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant or related certifications are a plus).
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and their components.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and industry standards.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Team player with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish.
- This role requires travel to each of the states we operate in. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel via airplane.
- May require overnight travel; must be able to rent a vehicle or use personal vehicle for local assignments.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
- WALKING : Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the department and handling merchandise.
- CLIMBING : Needs to be able to physically install asset tags, which may be on roofs or in mechanical rooms. Use of a small ladder may be required.
- STANDING : Continuously, throughout shift.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The primary work environment is that typical of a retail grocery store. May include some office environment work.
