Position Summary:
The Administrator is directly responsible for the quality of patient care provided, the cost effectiveness of services provided, and the successful operation, growth and profitability of the branch. Ensures that the branch is meeting all performance objectives, established budgetary goals, key performance indicators and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration or related discipline required. Management experience in home care or health care industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and the home care operating software utilized by the company.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must possess positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to related, motivate, and work well with others within each level of authority and responsibility.
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Exceptional communication skills with focus on quality patient care and customer satisfaction
Evidence of progressive leadership responsibilities, including fiscal management is required

Professional, problem solver
Basic knowledge of OASIS Assessment
Excellent knowledge of State and Federal Home Health Regulations
Position Responsibilities:
Directs and controls operations accordingly to established policies, procedures, programs and budgets.
Responsible for the overall financial performance of the branch and develops plans to improve financial performance expectations and achieving revenue and outcome goals.
Directs installation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure program objectives.
Maintains regular contact with provider leadership and staff.
Prepares an annual budget in coordination with the Corporate Director of Operations and the Corporate Director of Finance.
Participates in coordination and implementation of an on-going community awareness program and acts as the company’s official spokesperson and representative
Supervise, and assures orientation and ongoing training for clinical field teams.
Ensures that nursing meetings and inservice programs for field clinicians are organized – participates accordingly as a non-clinician leader.
Identify needs and assures that additional training is provided to clinical team based on clinical audits, outcome scores, reports and tandem visits.
Training activities and responsibilities include:
Some methods to be utilized for training and communication include; onsite trainings, videos, e-mail, and web based trainings).
Ensures that tandem visits are performed with nurses to provide support and training and to assess competency– Oasis, wound care, trach care, IV’s, etc. Ensures performance and as needed of tandem OASIS competency visits and on site supervisory visits to supervise field staff.
Complete annual reviews and counseling of staff.
Responsible for providing leadership and guidance to all staff and for meeting performance expectations and achieving revenue and outcome goals.
Provide support to clinicians, office and field teams on clinical issues as appropriate. Seeks appropriate clinical guidance from others when necessary and/or outside of scope of job responsibility. Examples (wound care questions, patient clinical concerns, triaging clinical needs in times of staffing difficulties, management of IV therapy and high tech clinical procedures, giving direction on acceptance of patients and decisions to discharge or recertify patients.)
Responsible to ensure coverage of any cases that cannot be filled; ensures appropriate back up clinical coverage is in place at all times.
Ensure ongoing communication with all members of the team.
Follows up on all incident reporting, infection control reporting and complaint reporting for complete and timely resolution of all issues and incidents.
