Nurse Supervisor (RN) - Full time

Heritage Ministries at The Homestead is in growth mode and currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team! The Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of residents.  The Nurse Supervisor (RN) supervises nursing functions in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local Department of Health Codes and Regulations. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivery of nursing care consistent with facility standards and established policies and procedures.
• Serves as Assigned Supervisor for various nursing department personnel. 
•  Seeks direction from the Human Resource Director and Director of Nursing regarding personnel matters. Takes appropriate action in accordance with personnel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing in New York State. Maintenance of licensure requirements required.
• B.S.N preferred.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Previous Supervisory experience required.
