Job Posting for Endoscopy Technician at Heritage Valley Health System

Department: Endoscopy, Work Hours: FT, 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday with on call evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Provides direct and indirect patient care and assists in performing technical procedures under the supervision of the Physician/Registered Nurse. Maintains a safe and clean patient environment. Responsible for the proper cleaning and storage of equipment in the Endoscopy/GI Lab.

Requirements High School graduate or equivalent, completion of training and planned orientation. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred: Endoscopy/GI Lab technician experience. Previous experience as a nursing assistant and in caring for medical instrumentation.
