The Hermann Veterinary Clinic is hiring a small animal technician. This position involves client interaction while helping with check in for appointments, gathering history, and providing discharge instructions. Responsibilities also include patient restraint, collecting lab samples, and surgery monitoring. This position has a wide variety of responsibilities that can change day to day. Our clinic provides care for many species; however, this position involves only our dog and cat patients.
This is a full-time position (4 weekdays and rotating Saturday morning shifts). The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and communication skills. Veterinary experience is required. Registered veterinary technicians and experienced veterinary assistants will be considered. The ideal candidate is flexible and enjoys being part of a team. Must be physically capable of bending, lifting at least 35 pounds, controlling large dogs on a leash, and standing for long periods of time.
