Rental Properties Maintenance Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Rental Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance for our rental properties. From routine repairs to emergency situations, you will ensure that our properties are well-maintained and provide safe and comfortable living environments for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance tasks such as HVAC servicing, plumbing checks, and landscaping upkeep.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct periodic inspections of rental units to identify maintenance needs and address any issues proactively.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, expenses, and property condition reports.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to prolong the lifespan of property assets and minimize disruptions to tenants.
• Handle emergency maintenance situations, such as plumbing leaks or electrical failures, with efficiency and professionalism.
• Collaborate with property managers and leasing agents to ensure that maintenance concerns are addressed promptly during turnover periods.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field, preferably in a rental property management setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email communication and record-keeping software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours when necessary.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month
