Responsibilities:
- Processing time records, calculating payrolls, maintaining payroll control records, and ensuring payroll taxes are paid according to state and federal law.
- Closely review personnel records to determine rates of pay, newly hired workers, changes in wage rates and occupations of employees are within company guidelines.
- Pull GL ledger information to: Audit, research, and resolve cases assigned for payroll calculation/deduction related issues.
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Oversees a team of Payroll Administrators
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
- 5 years’ experience in human resources, payroll or accounting for a corporation
- Well organized and attends to detail, meets deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Working knowledge of payroll lifecycles, best practices, and Federal, State, and local regulations
- Experience with UKG
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
