STEM Facilitator
Organization Overview:
The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum operated by the Carousel Society of the Niagara Frontier, is a premier national historic site and community resource for family recreation and learning that fosters an appreciation for the unique heritage of the carousel and related industries in the Niagara region. Through educational, cultural, and recreational programming, visitors experience the places, people, stories, and artifacts associated with the production of carousels, band organs, and amusement devices.
Job Description:
The STEM Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum Education Department, specifically the Education Coordinator, to implement, design, and evaluate STEM programs for youth K - 12th. The STEM Facilitator will work primarily within the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum's Children's Gallery and online with the museum's Carrousel Courier Jr. Blog. The STEM Facilitator is tasked with:
The STEM Facilitator will report directly to the Education Coordinator. Should there be any concern with doing so, the STEM Facilitator will report to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum Executive Director.

This is a part-time (max 28 hours per week) contract 6 week position that is not eligible for benefits.
Salary is $16.00 per hour.
